Counseling & Care Management
Supporting you through life’s transitions
Kathy Link provides care management services to the elderly, as well as a multitude of other vulnerable populations. A care manager organizes a loved one’s care needs through communication, advocacy, and garnering resources. After conducting a needs assessment, Kathy creates a person-centered plan of care.
Kathy Link provides individual, family, and group counseling. Kathy’s dynamic clinical approach draws upon goal-setting, creating connections, problem-solving, cognitive, and behavioral models. Kathy specializes in the areas of grief and bereavement, terminal illness, trauma, anxiety, depression, and recovery from substance use disorders (also known as drug or alcohol abuse or addiction). Kathy includes meditation and mindfulness techniques as the client wishes.
Kathy Link earned a Sacred Passage End-of-Life Doula Certificate through the Conscious Dying Institute. End-of-life doulas (also called death doulas) provide support in place to people who are dying and their loved ones. That support may range from emotional, to mental, to spiritual, to pragmatic within the scope of the wishes and goals of the person who is dying, or the wishes and goals of their loved ones.
