In my life, and in my work, I have found that sometimes the answer to complicated situations is as simple as “Shut up and sit down!” Maybe a nicer way to put it is “Close your mouth and open your heart!” Those are my definitions of my personal meditation practice. I am consistent in trying, but I am no expert. 

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines meditation as “1) to engage in contemplation or reflection, He meditated long and hard before announcing his decision. 2) to engage in mental exercise (such as concentration on one’s breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness.”
